It’s an oft heard lament that hospital
food is…well, hospital food.
Want to dismiss a bad dinner at a new
restaurant? Just say you’ve had better food at a hospital.
To change that perception and to shine a
spotlight on the unique menus our member hospitals are
providing patients, Consorta held the Battle of the
Hospital Chefs on September 25 during the Consorta Source Conference &
Exhibition 2007. Hosted by John Williams, mid-day host on WGN Radio 720, this unique competition pitted three
hospital chefs from Consorta member hospitals against one
another as they created tasty, heart-healthy meals fit for
patients and guests.
